"l'hadlik ner shel Shabbat"
Join 2239 for Shabbat Services, followed by Dinner
2239 is joining Washington Hebrew for a special Friday night service formally
welcoming in Rabbi Aaron Miller as the congregation’s newest rabbi. Many of us
have already met Aaron at our 2239 beach trip or our Beer Bands and BBQ event
this past weekend, but this is the congregation’s chance to meet him as well.
The service will be followed by a special, “2239-only” Shabbat dinner
afterwards, so come, reunite with your Beer Bands and BBQ buddies, meet some new
young Jewish professionals in the area, and have a great time!
The service starts at 6PM and will be a congregational service.
The dinner starts immediately after service (7:30PM), and will only be for 2239.
*$15 for Dinner at the Door for all WHC and Non-Members*

2239 is a group at Washington Hebrew Congregation for young Jewish professionals ages 22 to 39 who live in the DC-metro area. We come together for socializing and networking possibilities. Past events have included happy hours, holiday celebrations, wine tasting, whitewater tubing and much much more!
